DESCRIPTION:

Aluminiun billets are produced from continuous casting or extrusion or indirectly through hot-rolling an ingot or bloom. These billets can be created out of primary aluminium and secondary or aliminium remelt.

USAGE:

Billets are further extruded into profiles, bars, and tubes of different shapes and for various applications. They can also be used to produce electrical conductors. The final application of billets depends on the alloy that the billets are cast in.
